Fabio Mazzeo and Exclusiva Design had win the international competition for the interiors design of the public spaces in the Lakhta Center, Gazprom’s new business center in Saint Petersburg.
Some of the most prestigious architecture studios in the world participated in the selection but only four made it through to the final phase: three British studios and Exclusiva, the eventual winner, with a project designed by architect Fabio Mazzeo.
The prestigious commission includes the design of the “Sky lobbies” in the Gazprom tower, the skyscraper that, once completed, will be in the running for the highest building in Europe. Exclusiva will also create the interiors for: the gallery for the multipurpose building, the tower Observatory, a 494-seat multipurpose conference hall, the entrances on all levels, the bridges connecting the north and south blocks of the multipurpose building, the offices, the meeting rooms and the tower’s wide buffer zones, as well as the car parks, stairs and toilets.
The project will cover a total area of 29,000 square metres.
